Rivarossi 2026 – The Most Anticipated New Releases and Major Comebacks

Building on the momentum of Rivarossi’s 80th anniversary, celebrated in 2025, the new 2026 catalogue confirms and expands the range offered in recent years, consolidating its position as a benchmark brand in the Italian railway modelling market. In 2026, several important models already announced will finally reach shops, such as the long-awaited Gr. 685 steam locomotives, aimed at setting a new quality standard for Italian steam engines, as well as the “Henschel Wegmann” train with the fully redesigned streamlined locomotive 61 001. A new technological challenge is represented by the FIAT 500 Motocarrello draisine, the smallest H0 scale model we have ever produced, which reproduces one of the most iconic designs of Italian engineering.

There is also no shortage of major returns of previously produced models, now updated to keep pace with modern standards—above all the “Pendolino” ETR 401 (which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026) and the ETR 450, as well as the E424 “Navetta” and the Swiss BLS Ce 4/4 and Ce 4/6. In terms of rolling stock, production is also expanding with CIWL and UIC-X coaches. A wide selection of freight wagons of various types and railway administrations, as always, completes our range, offering products aimed at the broadest possible audience of modellers.
