HR2868S FS, electric locomotive E.646, 2nd series, "Treno Azzurro" livery, period IIIb, with DCC-sounddecoder
Product Info
Since their delivery, started in 1961, the E646 of 2nd series have been used to pull the most important long-distance trains of that period, and among them of course there was the prestigious “Treno Azzurro” Milano-Roma-Napoli.
To better match the coaches livery, two locomotives of this group (units 035 and 037) have been delivered in the same light blue/dark blue colors, with a small variation in the livery schema on the fronts and lower part of the body.
These two locomotives carried this livery between 1962 and 1967, and then repainted in the classic green/grey livery.
